Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative / Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This is a varied role that combines yard duties with customer deliveries, making it ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Preparing customer orders for collection and delivery.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard environment.
• Carrying out stock checks and assisting with stock control.
• Delivering products to customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Conducting vehicle checks and ensuring vehicles are kept clean and roadworthy.
• Assisting customers with collections and general enquiries.
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times.

Skills and Experience:

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or delivery role is desirable but not essential.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
• Forklift licence advantageous, but training can be provided for the right candidate.

Work Hours: This full-time role entails 39.5 hours per week. Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 7.30am to 4.30pm and Friday from 7.30am to 4.00pm.
